Kanter Lecture on California Fine Printing held at the William Andrews Clark Memorial Library in Los Angeles. The lecture was "On Books, Soap Opera, & River Rafting," by Carolee Campbell; it was dedicated to Stephen A. Kanter, M.D. (1939-2018), an important collector on the Los Angeles Fine Press scene for many years. Michael Hannon is a poet who lives in Los Osos, CA in the CA Central Coast. Hannon supported himself as a poet by painting houses on the Central Coast. The Ninja Press specializes in printing the work of contemporary poets. An enso in Japanese calligraphy is a circle that is hand-drawn in one or two uninhibited brushstrokes to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create.
