Both volumes solid VGs with bright gilt-lettering to front panels and spines. Both dustjackets clean, crisp and VG+, with minor, light chipping and rubbing along the spines. Thick octavos, 915 pgs. all told. Volume 1: A Dictionary of Raw Materials; and Volume 2: A Treatise on Practical Perfumery. An exhaustive treatment on the subject, a substantial, impressive set.
