1893 Memorial Edition 2 vols complete, original cloth h/b Complete and intact condition, illustrated with fold-out maps, plans & plates ( mainly sepia but a few coloured) and some in-line b&w. Top closed-edges tinted red, inscription-free but for minimal ex-library markings (incl "WITHDRAWN" stamps), a paper-clip or footprint on a prelim of each vol, gilt spine-titles and front-&-rear cover decorative figures, on black cloth that is rubbed through on corners. Unusually good ex-library condition for this age, no loosened pages, sl worn, a little light foxing or handling throughout, a gluing crack or two (but quite sound) and sl rubbing wear to covers. The 1893 Memorial Edition of " the Works" comprised 3 separate titles, this being one complete title Burton's Pilgrimage to AL-MEDINAH & MECCA
