Portuguese text with an English summary: "Fishing in the Panguila Lagoon and the curing of the fish. The present work is divided into five parts, each one dealing with the following subjects: 1. Localization of the lagoon and the building up of the work. 2. Localization of the fishing centres and the vegetable and animal content of the lagoon. 3. Fishing equipment and description of net fishing. 4. Preparation and curing of fish. 5. The human atmosphere in two of the fishing camps. At the conclusion of the work, a table is given showing the prices of fish, at the moment of selling by the fisherman and in the native market at Luanda." .
