Green cloth boards, gilt lettering to spine, bumping to spine head and foot, a bit of fraying thereto, age-toning to text, else a good, solid, tightly bound, clean and unmarked copy of this biography of the Italian composer, born in Switzerland. Frontispiece portrait of the subject, 248 pp., with plentiful black-and-white drawings. Bookplate inside front flap, abraded. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
