NYC: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1908 Green cloth covers with lettering and line illustration of child riding a goat in gold on front cover. Frontis color plate with tissue guard; 49 tipped-in color plates at end of text (all present); some black and white illustrations in text. Covers are browned, spine is missing; binding is cracked in several places, but intact; previous owner name on first endpaper. Some foxing to frontis tissue guard, a few others have tears. Color plates are in excellent condition.
