Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens by J M Barrie

London : Hodder and Stoughton Limited A good copy of the second enlarged Hodder edition of Peter Pan with Arthur Rackham illustrations. Undated but pre 1920. In decorative cloth binding with 50 tipped in colour plates and numerous black and white designs and illustrations, 7 of which are full page. This copy has a bright and clean boards and spine. The spine is slightly faded with some pulling and a little fraying at the spine ends. The corners have light wear and fraying. There is a small bump to the bottom edge of the front board close to the spine. The contents are in very good clean condition with light toning to text pages. There is an old and messy repair to the front endpaper joint, which is sound. The initial text pages and title have some spotting and there is occasional spotting throughout mainly to side margins. Some spotting to foredge. There is a small mark in the gutter at p 109. Please enquire if you would like to see additional images.
