About This Item
This is a new, digitally enhanced reissue of the score originally published in 1908 by A. Durand et Fils, Paris. The "Petite Suite" was originally composed by Debussy in 1889 for piano, four-hands. By the time an orchestral version was sought in 1907, the composer was too busy with numerous other commissions to orchestrate his youthful work and entrusted the job to the conductor and composer Henri Büsser. This is the orchestral version most widely performed and recorded today.
