One of a handful of pursuit pilots flying a small squadron of P-40 aircraft he helped defend the retreating forces of MacArthur's army into the Bataan peninsula before being moved to the southern islands when Corregidor fell and was finally evacuated to Australia as all islands in the Philippines were surrendered. the only account written during the conflict by a fighter pilot. A clean very presentable copy.
