Boston: Samuel Ward, 1943. Soft cover. Very Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. White stiff cardboard stock, brown and gilt lettering and decoration to front cover, unpaginated. One month printed on each side of 6 boards attached with silk tie. LIght wear and age toning. Many daily appointments entered by a very socially busy former owner. At the bottom of each month is stated ; "Phillips Brooks Calendar, so called because this was the style used by him." A curious item. Brooks was a 19th century Episcopal clergyman.
