Some wear to calf, especially at corners and edges. Darkening to top edge of textblock. Ink ownership inscription to head of title page. Some light intermittent foxing and smudging, but overall text is clean and free of markings. Binding is sound. A philosophical treatise on aesthetics, originally published in 1757, that was the first complete exposition to separate beauty and the sublime as rational categories.
