New York: Harper Collins, , 1991. First edition, first printing, inscribed by Leibovitz on the title page "Boston October 1991 For Stephen Annie Leibovitz". The second of Leibovitz's photobooks, Photographs 1970-1990 was a companion book to her first museum exhibition, at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C. At the time she was only the second living photographer, and the first woman, to be featured in an exhibition by the museum (Britannica). Quarto. Original bronze photographic boards, titles to spine in bronze, dark brown endpapers. With the glassine jacket. Illustrated with photographs throughout. Some small scratches to rear cover, else bright and unmarked. A near-fine copy, with the fine dust jacket, a few nicks to tips, scarce in such lovely condition.
