London: Macmillan & Co, 1897 Copy in red cloth on boards with title and decoration blind stamped on cover and gilt title on spine. Spine is sunned. Very light offsetting to front and rear end papers. Previous owners inscription on half title page. Small paper tape repair to bottom of page 223. A few light internal cracks. Clean text with colour and b/w illustrations.
