Eight highly amusing steel engraved plates of various culinary scenes, on india paper. 8vo, (iv) xxiii, 416pp, period red half morocco, marbled boards, raised bands, austere gilt rules & title, slt. rubbed at edges. Some foxing, mainly to text (heavy to some pages) otherwise a good+ copy of an attractive edition. The 1st edition illustrated by Bertall.
