Some foxing, mainly to text (heavy to some pages) otherwise a good+ copy of an attractive edition. The 1st edition illustrated by Bertall. "A philosopher, who made dining a social refinement as well as an occasion of great pleasure." (Bitting). Includes a wonderful beverage engraving (p113) with brewing tea.
