Picasso Birth Of A Genius

by Cirlot Juan-Eduardo

Condition: Fair+/No Jacket

Spain: Paul Elek, 1972. Book. Fair+. Hardcover. 1st Edition NAP. This book has no additional printings (correct for McBride's first edition for this house), 288 pages, orange cloth. But, should be thought of, in spite the above, as non-collectable given it's condition. The bad, is that it has a bit of cocking (spine slant and fairly mild) a small smudge first endsheet (possibly price sticker removal?). Oddly, additionally the 1/2 title and title pages have small seemingly foxed areas, one postage stamp and two postage stamp sizes respectively. The good, text unmarked, binding sound, cloth clean. Text in English. The book was presented to a US Senator, though his name is not used (Frank Church) by Spanish industrialist and financier Jose Llado Fernandez-Urrutia and is accompanied by his card on which is a hand written note of the Senors and Pilar regarding the gift. Card is loosely laid in. Likely presented in then late 70s. *We feel that books offered for internet sale should be described thoroughly and accurately. Books listed by Brass Dolphin are so described, and graded, using the strict, traditional standards. For this reason, we have virtually zero returns.*.
