Illustrated throughout with engravings. 485 pages, Includes first part of King Henry VI, Second part of King Henry VI, Third Part of Henry VI, Second part of the Contention of the muses of York and Lancaster, King Richard III, King Henry VIII. Essays on Henry VI and Richard III. 485 pp.

George Routledge and Sons, 1111. Hardcover. Acceptable. No Edition Remarks. 506 pages. No dust jacket. Purple cloth with decorations. Black and white illustrations throughout. Slight cracking to gutters causing binding to be loose, however pages remain attached. Pages and illustrations have light tanning and foxing throughout. Water stain to front pastedown and endpaper. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Wear marks overall.

NY: Peter Fenelon Collier, 1900. Dark turquoise cloth boards with burgundy leather, spinecover missing, boards detached, leather on back corner very chipped. End pages detached, but present. Text pages are clean with no marking. Half Leather. Poor/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.

Edges of text block are dyed red with black speckles. Frontipiece and tissue are intact. Good condition. The covers show edge wear particularly to the corners which are worn to the boards. The hinges are beginning to crack, but the pages are all intact. The interior pages are unmarked. There is a small abrasion to the front flyleaf.
