Light thumb marking, foxing and moderate tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Hinges are moderately cracked causing boards to be slightly loose. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear.

Good in dark green cloth with blind tooled decoration on front and rear boards and with dulled gilt lettering and decoration to spine. Ageing to edges of textblock. Previous owners name scribbled out in ink at front of book. This book has been rebound (rebacked) with matching green cloth and with original spine-piece reaffixed. New endpapers and pastedowns fitted to both front and rear. A sound tight clean copy.
