"A Panoramic Reproduction of the Most Famous Street Scenes and Historical Landscapes" -- on front cover. Inscription on front fixed endpaper: "John L. Burns to Samuel F. Camac," 1900. Although not included in the title, North and South America are also represented. A fascinating collection of late 19th-century photographs of famous scenes. A heavy book; for international shipping, it will have to be sent by priority international. Scarce. In Good Condition: edges are rubbed; corners and ends of spine are frayed; cover is lightly soiled; hinges are weak; finger soiling in margins; several closed tears from lower edges of 2 cm. or less; 1 closed 4-cm. tear; text block is solid.
