Octavo, volume two only; 448, [i]pp. In contemporary full speckled calf (extremities lightly worn, spine rubbed), gilt roll to board margins, spine gilt, spine labels missing, original marbled endpapers, light spotting to opening and closing leaves, closing errata leaf present, a clean complete odd volume example produced within Voltaire's lifetime of this attractive edition, with each page set within an ornamental frame.
