(London): Longmans, (Green and Co Ltd, 1968). First edition. Inscribed by Steen to "Rache" - i.e. Horatio Henry Lovat Dickson, the publisher and writer, and dated in the year of publication. Dickson is mentioned briefly in the text of the book. The endpaper bears a label recording the gift of the book from Lovat Dickson, to Winter's College Book Room at York University. Laid in is an e-mail from Winter's College explaing that the Book Room was closed and the books sold. Marguerite Steen was married to the British painter, Sir William Nicholson.
