Eaton County Pioneer and Historical Society, 1923. Hardcover First Edition [1923], unstated. INSCRIBED "A.B. Quantrell, compliments of the AUTHOR 1923", but left unsigned. Good+: shows light wear to the extremities, mild rubbing and faint, but pervasive soiling to the panels; a quarter-inch tear in the fabric at the top of the front hinge; a couple of faint dings at the rear panel, near the hinge; the blue background field of the backstrip is very lightly sunned, but the gilt titles thereon remain clearly legible; sparse foxing to the endpapers and outside edges; newpaper clippings affixed to the rear pastedown endpaper. The binding shows very slight lean, but remains secure; the text is clean. Besides the author's inscription, the book is free of ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, or labels. Remains clean, sturdy, and quite presentable. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. (8.8 x 5.9 x 0.75 inches). xi, 192 pages. Weight: 14.8 ounces. First Edition [1923], unstated. Hardback: No DJ 'as issued'. INSCRIBED "A.B.
