Tan cloth over boards. Blue spine titles. Vibrant color frontispiece, artist not credited. At back, 4 ps. other titles, synopses. Youth Series. This volume 7th of 8 listed Venture Books near front. Western also wrote "The Flying Submarine" and "Captain Cain". Contents for this story begins with A Pair of Rogues and ends with Mutiny. It looks like a lot of sea action in between.

Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and tanning.

Heavy tanning to pages with heavier tanning to pastedowns and endpapers. Pencil inscriptions to front endpaper and major tanning to text block edges. Front hinge is cracked with exposed netting and binding is loose. Boards have visible edge wear and rubbing with major bumping to corners. Fair crushing to spine ends and heavy tanning to spine.
