About This Item

a4 garage pale orange black text F garage: Sintesis, 2002. Paperback. Used: Acceptable. This book is in Spanish. There is an English translation of the description of this book below. Hardback with dustjacket - 2002 - good condition excepting 3 small tears to dust jacket plus some corner bumps. Illustrated with more than 150 images to all color, this book constitutes a singular testimony of the past and the present of the Aragón Stop, weave from encounter with its inhabitants who still take hold themselves to the Earth of their ancestros. Pyrenean Aragonese speaks of the difficulty to live in this earth, of the cataclysm of the Civil War and the tear of exile, immigration, the hidrológicos plans of ?the desarrollista? time. But mainly he offers a full picture of feeling of a natural space outside the common thing, of his innumerable geologic and landscaping wonders: Ordesa and Monte Perdido, mountain range of Guara, tips of Aneto and the Madaleta, the Mallos de Riglos?., and also, like compensating, of the multiple left towns of the zone, with thousands of houses, today desert, of beautiful Aragonese architecture, with its tile roofs sunk and invaded by the brambles. With the abandonment of the men, the mountain, long ago humanized, has returned to its natural state.
