Professor George Wille (1880-1965), read for his B.A.LLB. at Cambridge. Returning to South Africa in 1903, he was a member of the Transvaal Bar for 18 years, where he practiced as an advocate. He became the first full-time professor of law at University of Cape Town in 1920, holding the chair until 1945, and lecturing chiefly on Roman-Dutch law. Many judges in South Africa and Rhodesia studied under him. Wille was one of the best-known legal writers in South Africa. He was known for his liberal outlook and for his support of equal legal rights to South Africa's underprivileged classes. 006-3

Information in the publication goes up to 1848; the State Library of Pennsylvania gives 1849 as the year of publication. Lawyer and judge Garrick Mallery (1784-1866) served in the Pennsylvania legislature from 1827 to 1830. He was the father of Garrick Mallery (1831-1894), an ethnologist who specialized in Native American sign language. Very scarce. First published in 1950, republished consecutively three times throughout the 1950's in New York City; printer unknown. Textbook for writing on a Hebrew Typewriter, employing training exercises and illustrated aids, with an emphasis in training using the "blind method". Booklet, but long edge adjusted format, with page order reversed so as to allow one to employ a single page at a time, keeping the manual open flat, and then coming through back around using one page at a time [page order is; 1, 2, 3, 32, 4, 31, 5, 30, 6 ... etc]. An interesting manual for contemporary Hebrew Typing. Subjects: Manuals-Hebrew Typewriter. OCLC lists 1 copy, at the Natl Libr Israel. Wraps soiled and faded, first endpage lightly soiled, internally fresh and clean. Good condition. (BIBLIOG-30-31).
