New York: William Morrow and Company, 1940 59pp. No additional printings noted. Ghost of large pencil notation on front pastedown. Tips and spine ends are bumped and rubbed. Boards have a slight bend. Lower edge of front board has a small bump. Lower edge of front board has a small stain. Front board has light white spotting. Board edges and spine are sunned. Glue toning to the front endpaper and front pastedown. Inside boards, title page, and page edges have light foxing. Lower tip of front flap is clipped. Edges of jacket have tears, chipping, creases and large pieces missing. Jacket has holes, surface tears, heavy scraches and heavy scuffs. Jacket has heavy sunning and soiling. This jacket is poor and may have other flaws. . First Edition. Hardcover. Good/Poor Jacket.
