Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Unclipped jacket has light edge-wear with minor tears and chipping. Mild rubbing and marking. Mild tanning to spine and edges.

Slight cracking to hinges, with exposed netting, pages slightly loose. Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout. Heavier to first and last few pages. Slight stains and markings to some pages. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Slight crushing to spine ends. Slight staining overall. Gilt lettering is bright and clear.

The guttering along the ffp is cracked. The general security, or shabby charm of the book is unaffected. Marbled trims. The contents are passive.
