Early work, probably published around 1930, by the English biographer, poet, critic, essayist and literary historian. Limited edition of 500 printed on Pannekoek Antique paper by G. J. Thieme in Holland. Red decorated binding with gilt titles on spine, gilt top edge, rough cut leading edge. Spine faded with titles bright, bottom and top of spine chipped, some spotting of front cover with stains near spine and top edge, minor edge wear, corners a little bumped, back cover faded at leading edge, interior pages very lightly tanned.
