Macmillan and Co. Ltd. London. 1897. Reprint. Small 8vo. (6.3 x 4.2 inches). Finely bound, by Ramage of London, in beautiful early twentieth century full navy blue crushed morocco, extra gilt. The spine with raised bands, ruled in gilt. Compartments fully ruled, decorated and lettered in gilt. Elaborate Persian fan design to boards. Inner Dentelles fully decorated in gilt, surrounding pink Moire silk centre pieces. Silk endpapers. All edges gilt. A hint of rubbing to a couple of edges but overall a near fine example of a beautiful leather binding.
