The jazz guitarist moved to California and pursued various artistic and publishing ventures before attending law school and shifting to political activism; he ran as the Peace and Freedom Party candidate for state treasurer in 1969 and for the Santa Monica City Council in 1971.

Mild bump to outer edge of text block. Exterior shows mild age-tanning, with light creasing to bottom outer corners of covers. Front cover shows three small humidity stains to top edge. Rear cover shows smudge to bottom portion from previously-removed price sticker/adhesive.
