Glasgow: Oxford University Press, 1955. Hardcover. Good+ to Very Good-/Good. Presumed First Edition. A collection of letters exchanged between playwright, Gordon Bottomley, and artist, Paul Nash. Green cloth with gilt titling on spine, illustrated with black and white plates and drawings, 277 pages. Spine ends and upper corners bumped, some light stains to back cover, a few tiny specks on leading text block edge, previous owner's signature in ink on end paper, text is clean and tight. Dust jacket, which is not price-clipped, has edge wear with small closed tears and associated creases-particularly to corners and spine ends, 1" x 1" open tear at lower spine end, spine is sunned, crease to lower corner of front flap, cover is lightly soiled, colours are bright. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg. Additional charges will apply for heavier shipments, but not until the customer agrees.
