William Pickering. London. 1839. THREE VOLUMES. 8vo. (6.5 x 4.2 inches). Portrait frontis in volume one. Printed by Charles Whittingham, London. Attractively bound in contemporary half black calf with gilt ruling, decoration and lettering to spines. Dark green title labels, gilt. Marbled paper on boards. Some foxing to blank endpapers but text is clean and fresh. Some rubbing to extremities and minor chipping to top of the spines on volumes one and two but overall a very good set.
