Half green calf leather bindings (by Hatchards) with cloth covered boards. Spines have five raised bands, gilt ruled compartments, gilt title & volume numbers, date to foot of spines. Fading and slight rubbing to spines. Excellent solid bindings with no cracking to joints. Top page edge gilt, marbled endpapers. Foxing to frontis in volume I, otherwise in very clean condition throughout. Previous owner's name to half title page in two volumes (Blake Alexander Hankey). Overall condition is Very Good.
