London: John Murray, 1855. Hardcover. Very good condition. A lovely set, full tree calf binding with gilt stamped compartments, raised bands, all edges marbled, complete in 6 volumes. Frontispiece portrait at Volume I; marbled end papers. Early pages a few volumes with faint scattered foxing, otherwise bright and fresh. Previous owner inscription ffep of Volume I, dated 1856. A lovely set.
