About This Item

New York: McGraw-Hill Book Company, 1969. This Stated First Edition (and if it's not stated, it isn't) novel by Hans Habe is in Fine condition with a Fine, price-clipped dust jacket, which I've placed into a Brodart protective sleeve. (Click on photo.) In this Rashoman-like work, eight people tell their story of the murder of a Rome call-girl. The book is bound in 3/4 black cloth and 1/4 beige board, with die-stamped gilt lettering and designs on front panel and spine, as well as pink top-edge stain. The book is clean and bright throughout, with no marks or stains. The price-clipped dust jacket has a crease on the rear flap. The book measures 6 by 8 1/2 inches, with 366 pages. A nice collectible for Han Habe admirers.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fine/Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
