Front hinge splitting, rear endpapers splitting. Corners rubbed, exposing underlying boards. Inscribed by Scott to fellow Presbyterian Minister, James Wood, who pioneered the Presbyterian Church in Stockton, California. ; [Greenwood, California Imprints 1833-1862, 613] [Drury, California Imprints 1846-1876, 77] ; Signed by Author .
