Paper clip indentation and two spots of tape residue at the upper edge (this scarcely visible); clean and bright image. Finely detailed and delicately colored image (showing the fungi growing on wood and several details) drawn by R. K. Greville and engraved by J. Swan from the second edition of William Curtis's magnum opus "Flora Londinensis." This work is celebrated for the skill of the engraving and handcoloring; the plants are depicted life size, and include most of the British flora. The text sheet identifies it as of the class and order Cryptogamia Fungi. .
