Rubbing to extremities and corners; some discoloration and rubbing on the third panel of the spine due to a former shelf label. A "withdrawn" sticker is pasted on the inside front cover. A library blind stamp is located on the title page and on p.55. Interior is otherwise clean. Second edition enlarged with 6 additional essays. Contains articles on ethics and religion in ancient Greece with discussions on gods, demi-gods and damons. Karl Ludwig Lehrs (1802-1878) was a professor of ancient Greek philology at Königsburg University.
