The Postmaster's Opportunity for Service: Address of Hon. James A. Farley at Fayetteville, N.C., August 17, 1937

by Farley, James A

Condition: Very Good-

Plain printed and stapled wraps. 11pp. James Farley was among the first Irish-Catholics to achieve political success at a high level in the U.S. as Postmaster General and the Chairman of the DNC and is widely seen as responsible for F.D.R.'s rise to the presidency, particularly in forging alliances among Catholics, African-Americans, labor unions and farmers. Very scarce; OCLC locates only one copy library holdings. Center-creasing (likely from being originally mailed in an envelope) and light foxing, mild creasing and chipping to wraps.
