[6], 27pp, [1], bound in paper over boards, with a mounted illustration, frontis after a bas-relief by Elizabeth Ferrea, in gilt borders, with the binding and hinges tight. INSCRIBED & SIGNED [to W. D. Vincent] "For I remember many / pleasant hours spent / in your company / before our open fire. / Lucia H. Woodbury." Along with two letters from the Author *A handwritten letter addressed to "My dear Mr. Vincent / After the ceremony Christmas Day, will you please accompany us home for a very informal Wedding Breakfast. The letter continues, and is signed "Lucia H. Woodbury". *The second is a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. Vincent, being a dinner invitation, signed by Lucia H. Woodbury. Includes the bookplate of W. D. Vincent.
