A good copy bound in full calf with four raised bands. The fep contains early (seventeenth century?) ink notes and has lower corner missing to paper. With an added engraved title page: A practicall catechisme, said to be engraved by Wenceslaus Hollar, interestingly in these later editions the engraved plate appears cut down to remove the quote "Royall Flame" that appeared on the 1646 edition; the second tp. is typographic. title, 2nd title, A3-[A6], 1-419, title, 421-482.482pp. Henry Hammond (1605-1660) had been a chaplain to Charles I and was a Royalist supporter..
