The Bullard Company. Boston. 1912. Date on title page. 407 pages. Hardcover. The tan covers are in good condition, their is general wear with mild bumping at the corners. The front cover is profusely illustrated and, while there is some fading to the illustration, it is still in good condition. The spine is faded and scuffed in spots with the title and author still readable. The back cover is faded with some light soiling and spotting. The binding is solid. The interior of the book is in good condition. The only writing detected is a previous owners' name on the front endpaper. The pages and page edges are mildly toned. There are small stains or soiling on a few pages (detected on less than 10 pp.); there is no foxing detected in the book. The book is illustrated with 57 full page black and white plates. These plates include photographs of individual plants and gardens and are in very good condition. This is a nice horticulture book from the early 20th century.
