A new Preface was written for this edition by the author. Presentation copy signed by Debo, "For 'America Alive' / Best wishes to Mr. Linkletter and his associates. / Angie Debo". America Alive was a TV show 1978-79. Debo was a great national and Oklahoma historian whose research and writings were and still are critical to the lives of Native Americans.
