Harrisburg: Pennsylvania General Assembly, 1849. Paperback. Very Good. 15, [1] p.; 22 cm. Disbound from a volume of unrelated 19th-century pamphlets. "5" in ink at upper right-hand corner of title page. Light marginal pencil marks throughout. No date of publication. Information in the publication goes up to 1848; the State Library of Pennsylvania gives 1849 as the year of publication. Lawyer and judge Garrick Mallery (1784-1866) served in the Pennsylvania legislature from 1827 to 1830. He was the father of Garrick Mallery (1831-1894), an ethnologist who specialized in Native American sign language. Very scarce. In Very Good Condition: disbound; first leaf and last leaf detached but present; light marginal pencil marks; otherwise, clean and tight.
