Withall, a very attractive copy of this Caldecott Medal winner.. Elizabeth Orton Jones. First Edition. Hardcover. Signed by Elizabeth Orton Jones on the title-page. First edition, first printing, with "Copyright 1944 by the Macmillan Company, and, below, "Copyright 1941 by the Macmillan Company" (the text of the poem had been copyrighted before this edition appeared) - on the copyright page. A touching and not unduly pious Christian prayer for children, with endearing illustrations. Jones won a Caldecott Medal in 1945 for this book. 8vo tan cloth, ca. Very uncommon signed.
