The first serious attempt to give credence to the discovery of America by the Northmen, and gives lengthy translations into English (some for the first time) of all the Icelandic texts referring to the subject. The original front cover of the monogram is loose, and it has a couple of imprint stamps from the Long Island Historical Society.
