History of Preece Cardew and Rider from it's formation in 1899 by William Preece, the joining of John H. Rider in 1915 and those who followed with some of the principal projects on which it worked in the hydro electric generating and distribution field. It's offices were initially at Queen Anne's Gate London moving to Brighton in 1968 and in 1979 Hove. Near Fine/ VG (Book- no previous owner name or insc. - no notable defects. Very Good condition book, corners sharp and paper white, in Fine condition dust wrapper, not price clipped. Dust wrapper supplied in archive acetate film protection, this preserves and prolongs the life of the paper, it is not adhered to the book or to the dust wrapper. Member of the P.B.F.A.
