DJ and book have library markings, DJ has wrinkling on some edges and corners, peeling and label stain on the lower spine, inside flaps are glued to the fixed endpapers, discoloration and normal shelf wear otherwise good. Book has wrinkling and chipping on the spine edges and gutter edges, wear on the cover edges, tear on the hinges of the fixed endpapers from top to bottom, moderate discoloration and shelf wear otherwise good. Here are the best of the author's shorter writings including some of his thoughtful essays from American Heritage, several of his prefaces to the writings of other historians, and articles he has written for professional journals.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Ex-Library.
