Small newspaper clipping from 1957 regarding proposition of March 7th as Vespucci Day adhered to title page with corresponding acid transfer to opposite page. Large foldout facsimile "de la Carte de l'Amerique du Ptolemee de 1513" at end of first book with a closed tear along the bottom right fold line. A nice clean copy without previous owners' names or other markings. ; Folio 13" - 23" tall; v, [i], 50; ii, 57, [i] pages; All shipments through USPS insured Priority Mail. .
