Leipzig, Germany: Johann Ambrosius Barth, 1901. First Edition. Three Quarter Leather. Very Good. Pyotr Lebedev (1866-1912) used a very sensitive experiment to confirm Maxwell's prediction of the radiation pressure of light, and announced the finding at the World Physics Congress in Paris. viii, 876 pp. 8vo. Recent brown three quarter leather binding with dark leather spine and corners, four raised bands at spine with gold tilting. Interior clean with the only indication of ex-library being the "Withdrawn" stamp on the title page. Text in German.
