Edinburgh: John Grant , 1906 A good copy of the Winchester Edition of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice in 2 volumes. In the original light green cloth bindings with gilt to the top page edges, remainder untrimmed. The bindings are generally bright and clean. Vol I has small bumps to the front corners, a little pulling and fading to the spine with a couple of small faint spots, and a small white scuff on the back board. Vol II has slight fading and a few spots to the spine with cocking to the front and light pullin;, some bumping to the bottom corner and a small indentation to the front board; and a small dark line and a slight bump to the bottom corner on the back board. Contents generally good to very good. Vol I: half title to series; red and black title page; vol half title; text 292pp. Vol II: half title to series; red and black title page; volume half title; text 297pp; 1 final blank. There is some light marking to the endpapers and light foxing to some sections, mainly affecting margins. Vol I - page corner at p 201 has been turned over. Vol II has a decorative bookplate of Sarah Rosina Dodd to the fep.
